Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. The Hatay Sea Bus (HADO) Sinan Pasha Ship, which Lütfü Savaş described as a 'National Project', made its maiden voyage.
HADO departed from Arsuz on 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day and set out for Girne.
The first international maritime transportation by the municipality in Turkey has officially started with HADO. For the first time, Cyprus veterans, students studying in Cyprus and their families and many guests took part.

The war celebrated the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day of the citizens by paying close attention to the veterans on the ship.
Emphasizing that HADO's first expedition started on a meaningful day in his speech, Savaş said, “Today is the 19th of May, the day Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk landed in Samsun. Today, we are going to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to our brothers and sisters with our Cyprus Veterans, Members of Parliament and guests of all ages.

Stating that HADO voyages are important in order to reinforce the communication and brotherhood between the two countries, Savaş expressed his wishes to all passengers with the wishes of "Good luck with the sea bus services we organize between Cyprus and Hatay in order to make our brothers in Cyprus feel that we are with them and to meet more physically from now on". wish you a nice trip.
At the end of his speech, Savaş expressed his condolences to all our martyrs and their relatives, along with Infantry Specialist Corporal Haydar Şenel, who was injured on May 13 and was hospitalized as a result of the terrorist attack in the Operation Olive Branch region and passed away today.

Cyprus Veterans, who were happy to be on HADO's first expedition, thanked those who contributed, expressing that they are now traveling to the island where they brought peace after 48 years, with HADO, and that they are very pleased with it.
The businessmen who participated in the expedition stated that this project will make significant contributions to the development of Hatay's tourism and that the ties of brotherhood with the TRNC will be strengthened.
HADO, accompanied by the Coast Guard and customs gunboats, set out for Cyprus with applause.
