Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that they will start depositing a total of 1 billion 278 million TL Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care.
Minister Derya Yanık reminded that with the home care assistance, which was initiated with the idea of supporting disabled individuals with their families, citizens with severely disabled relatives who need care and who cannot work because they take care of them are supported.
Underlining that they implement policies for disabled citizens in line with their family-oriented social service vision, Minister Yanık said, “As the Ministry, we provide our care services for disabled people within the scope of the Integrated Care Model. We support disabled people living with their families with service models such as day care service and home care assistance.” said.
Reminding that a monthly payment of 2.354 TL is paid per beneficiary who takes care of a disabled relative in need of care, Minister Yanık said, “We are starting to deposit a total of 1 billion 278 million TL of Home Care Assistance into accounts this month in order to provide economic support to severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care. This month, 543 thousand of our citizens will benefit from Home Care Assistance. Payments will start tomorrow and will be completed on 20 May.
