Diesel Exhaust Fluid Was Produced For The First Time In Turkey

BelPLAS AŞ, one of the subsidiaries of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, has added a new product to its product range. BelPLAS AŞ, which produces diesel exhaust fluid for the first time in Turkey in accordance with European Union standards in order to prevent environmental pollution and reduce exhaust emissions, has launched its new product under the name “Belblue” for sale in the national and international markets.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to develop its production vision in line with its savings-oriented service approach.

BelPLAS AŞ, one of the subsidiaries of ABB, added a new product to its product range after the production of deicing solution, liquid fertilizer, disinfectant, beneficial microorganism consortium, road line and cosmetic oil. BelPLAS AŞ produced diesel exhaust fluid with the name 'Belblue' in its own laboratories for the first time in Turkey, in line with European Union standards.

BELBLUE IS AVAILABLE IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

Thanks to 'Belblue', which has already started to be used in all municipal vehicles, buses, earthmoving trucks and construction equipment, the Metropolitan Municipality has saved 3 million TL after two tenders held within 5 months.

BelPLAS AS Deputy General Manager Dr. Mustafa Hazman stated that they started to take orders for the environmental product that they started mass production and made the following statements:

“As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality BelPLAS AŞ, we produced a product called 'Belblue', which is an exhaust emission reduction product for the first time in the history of the Metropolitan Municipality. This product, which is in EU standards, was produced to prevent environmental pollution and reduce emissions by using it in vehicles. By producing over 3 million liters in 1 months, we have ensured the product supply of the Metropolitan. We also saved around 5 million TL. We are open to public and private initiatives all over Turkey, from Edirne to Kars, since we are not only for the Metropolitan Municipality but also on online platforms. We have already started taking orders. This is the first time such a product is produced in Turkey as a public institution. Our diesel exhaust fluid also reduces the costs of our municipality, just like the fertilizers, beneficial microorganisms and defrosters we produce. We are opening up to both the national and international markets by focusing on innovative production.”

While it is aimed to contribute to domestic production, to prevent environmental pollution, to reduce costs and to reduce exhaust emissions in Başkent, quality and affordable diesel exhaust fluid produced by ABB for the first time in Turkey, Belblue, is offered for sale on online shopping platforms.
