Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality has come to an end in its work for the new caravan area. The area, which was built on an area of ​​10 thousand square meters on the shores of Alleben Pond and was built to host 45 caravans at the same time, will be put into service after 1 month.

Examining the preparations on site, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin said, “After 1 month, we are waiting for those who say 'I'm in' in caravan tourism to Gaziantep.”

Continuing its investments to make Gazi city one of the preferred points in caravan tourism, which is a new rising trend in the tourism sector after the Kovid-19 epidemic, the Metropolitan Municipality completed the preparations for the new area on the opposite side of the caravan park area, which it built on the edge of Alleben Pond. The countdown has begun for the 35 caravan area where 10 caravans come and 45 caravans will be rented.

ALL NEEDS ARE CONSIDERED IN THE NEW FACILITY

In the new facility, where tourists will be intertwined with nature and have a pleasant time with nature views, all needs have been considered. In the area, the infrastructure for the guests to displace their gray and dirty water has been completed. Relevant units have been placed at the head of the caravan parks so that they can benefit from electricity and water systems. In addition, there will be open and closed buildings with a common kitchen area, bathroom, dishwashing room and kiosk that will serve 45 caravans.

Mayor Fatma Şahin, who visited the area and saw the works on site, said that the new facility has a magnificent view reflecting Green Gaziantep.

Şahin stated that it was understood that nature, naturalness, experience, caravan and canyon tourism would be a rising value in the workshops they organized for what should be done in tourism after the pandemic.

“We came together with the federation related to caravan tourism related to this. We found the most beautiful place for tourism to be around the Alleben Pond. There is a natural beauty here. We immediately created the infrastructure for caravan tourism with the means at our disposal. We saw that there was great interest and great satisfaction from all over the world. Last time we came, we saw that there was a team from London, last week it was full due to the holiday and the Italians had arrived. Those who come here go to the city, do shopping, visit our museums and get to know the city.”

President Şahin stated in his statement that an important infrastructure work was carried out in the area and said, “In our research, we have seen that there is no place to stop between Adıyaman and Mersin. When our current space filled up very quickly, we said that we should create a much larger, more beautiful and better infrastructure to meet the needs. We worked on a design and project on cleaning gray water, supplying clean water, protecting green tissue, providing detached air, determining common areas and private areas in a caravan tourism. Within a month, we created the infrastructure that 1 caravans will benefit from at the same time.”
