Bayraktar Akıncı TİHA, which has flown through three countries, is in Azerbaijan!

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA (Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar within the scope of the AKINCI project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Industry, has achieved another success.

CORLU, GEORGIA, AZERBAIJAN…

Two Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs, which will be exhibited both in the static area and in the dynamic area, at TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan, arrived in Azerbaijan after a long flight. Bayraktar AKINCI, who took off from Çorlu on the morning of 21 May to attend the festival, continued the flight over Georgia after passing the Turkish airspace. Entering Azerbaijan airspace after passing through Georgia, AKINCI reached Baku in about 5 hours. The second AKINCI, who set off at noon, followed the same route and successfully completed a flight of approximately 2000 km. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs, which successfully completed their flights, landed at Baku Haydar Aliyev International Airport and completed the historical journey.

APPROXIMATELY 2000 KM!

Thus, for the first time in our aviation history, a nationally developed UAV passed through 3 countries and traveled approximately 2000 km. He had a long and successful flight. Bayraktar AKINCI, who carried out a successful firing test for the target on the sea surface with the Teber-82 Guidance Kit developed by Roketsan, also holds the altitude record in our national aviation history. Continuing its test flights, Bayraktar AKINCI B TİHA broke the altitude record of our aviation history by climbing to an altitude of 11 feet in its test flight on March 2022, 40.170.

ON OPERATIONAL MISSION

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs, which entered the inventory with the ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 29, 2021, are currently actively used by our security forces in operational duties. So far, 6 Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs have entered the security forces inventory.

EXPORT AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH THREE COUNTRIES

Export contracts have been signed with 3 countries for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA. Within the scope of the contracts, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and ground systems are expected to be delivered periodically starting from 2023. Realizing its first national UAV export in 2012, Baykar completed the export of 2021 million dollars S/UAV system in 664, generating more than 80% of its revenues from exports. Negotiations continue with many countries that are interested in the National TİHA Bayraktar AKINCI.
