Reminding that the Ayvalık Museum of Anatolian Civilizations will meet with art lovers in the building in the Swallow Life Center on Saturday, June 4, Mayor Mesut Ergin also said that on the centennial of the population exchange, the preparations for the “Exchange Museum” are continuing, and they are proud of bringing two museums to the city one after the other.

Emphasizing that more than 619 historical artifacts selected from Ayşe Mina Esen's collection, curated by Necdet Bezmen, will be presented to the visitors in Ayvalık, President Ergin said, “We are bringing a new cultural space to life. In addition to tourism, nature, appetizers, olive oil and gastronomy culture, we will entrust our city with a cultural heritage for future generations. Ayvalık will also be known as the city of museums. Artifacts from different parts of Anatolia dating from the Chalcolithic Age to the present will be exhibited in the museum. The collection will include terracotta, silver, bronze, iron, bone, glass daily use and ornaments, and marble sculptures. "I expect the museum to be the center of attention," he said.
