ASELSAN and TAI Sign Contract for Electronic Warfare Project

A contract was signed between ASELSAN and TAI for the electronic warfare project. The signed contract was announced via KAP (Public Disclosure Platform). According to the contract, deliveries will be made between 2022 and 2028. In this context, the value of the contract is 342.975.000 Turkish Liras and 18.570.000 Euros. In the statement made on the PDP regarding the contract

“An electronic warfare project contract has been signed between ASELSAN and TUSAŞ with a total cost of 342.975.000,-Turkish Lira and 18.570.000,-Euro. Within the scope of the said contract, deliveries will take place between 2022 and 2028. This statement was made based on the permission dated 26.05.2022 from TAI.” expressions were used.

TAI has an HAVA SOJ project for the Air Force. With the HAVA SOJ project, the Turkish Air Force will gain electronic warfare capability.

AIR SOJ

The HAVA SOJ Project, carried out by the TAI and ASELSAN Joint Venture, was initiated to develop the electronic warfare special mission aircraft needed by the Turkish Armed Forces. Airborne remote electronic support and electronic attack capabilities, we have SOJA AIR Systems, defended Turkey's external dependence is expected to provide a major contribution to reduced the minimum target countries.

The HAVA SOJ Project was created to develop the electronic warfare special mission aircraft needed by our army. With the project carried out by TAI and ASELSAN Joint Venture, in order to meet the needs of the Turkish Air Force Command, AIR SOJ aircraft with remote electronic support and electronic attack capabilities, as well as planning and training centers, hangar and SOJ fleet buildings, spare parts, ground support equipment, training and integrated logistics support services will also be provided.

The Integrated Air SOJ System, to be used by the Turkish Air Force in air attack operations against external threats, allows the enemy to detect, confuse or deceive all kinds of radar and communication facilities without entering the threat zone. The system, which will provide capabilities to implement mission planning, execution, post-mission analysis, aircraft and mission system operation / maintenance / maintenance services, basically consists of two main elements:

  • Air SOJ System (Mission System integrated aerial platform)
  • Planning and Training Center (location/mission support elements)
