Applications for the 20th State Photography Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, start on 1 August.
The competition, organized by the General Directorate of Fine Arts affiliated to the Ministry, has been held every two years since 1984 to support photographers, promote the art of photography and, when necessary, create photography exhibitions that will represent our country on international platforms.
At the end of the competition, which will be held in 3 different categories, "Human and Life", "Natural Life" and "Historical Buildings" this year, a total of 141 thousand TL will be awarded for the winning works.
The specifications and detailed information regarding the competition can be accessed from the address gorselsanat.ktb.gov.tr and the contestants will be able to submit their applications online between August 1 and September 12, 2022 by directing their applications to the e-government system from this address.
