İŞKUR published its April statistical bulletin. Accordingly, the number of registered unemployed on an annual basis increased by 23 percent to 3 million 583 thousand 503. In April, 139 thousand 443 people were employed through İŞKUR.
While the number of registered unemployed women increased by 25 percent, the increase in men was 21,3 percent. 51,0 percent of the registered unemployed were men and 49,0 percent were women. According to age groups, 34 percent of the unemployed were in the 15-24 age group.
In April, 62 percent of those who were placed in a job through İŞKUR were men and 37,4 percent were women. In April, 87 thousand 230 men and 52 thousand 213 women were employed. In the January-April period of 2022, the number of people who were employed was 464 thousand 338 people.
