3-5 Izmir People's Day Celebrated with Activities in Various Parts of the City

3-5 Izmir People's Day, traditionalized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, was celebrated with many activities in various parts of the city.

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerAfter declaring May 3 as the World Izmir People's Day, a series of events were held in the city this year as well. Within the scope of 3-5 Izmir People's Day, while programs for children were held throughout the day in Kültürpark, Cyprus Martyrs and Anafartalar Avenues, the Mobile Band gave pleasant moments to the people of Izmir. While street musicians took the stage in Alsancak İskele, Kemeraltı and Agora Ruins, Salut De Smyrne Group met with music lovers at Balıkçılar Square.

The people of İzmir, who filled Gündoğdu Square in the evening, had the opportunity to listen to Kardeş Türküler. İzmir Bay witnessed a riot of colors at night. The people of Izmir, who filled the shores, enjoyed the laser and light show on the ferry from Üçkuyular to Bostanlı.

Passengers of Costa Venezia, the second cruise ship that came to Izmir after 6 years, landed at Izmir Port on May 3, Izmir People's Day. The passengers, who were welcomed with the Zeybek show and the moving parts of the Band 35 Brass, were sent off with a laser and light feast.
