Our submarines, which can serve under water for 3 days, can stay in the water for 12 weeks without supply. Equipped with effective weapons against underwater, surface and land targets, submarines have the ability to fire different types of torpedoes, missiles and mine. We integrate our national torpedo Akya and our national anti-ship missile Atmaca to our submarines with air-independent propulsion capability. In our new type of submarine project, we aim to deliver the first submarine Pirireis to our Naval Forces Command this year. We are planning to put the Hızırreis submarine into service in 2023 and Selmanreis in 2027, which we are shooting into the pool today. Starting from this year, we will have one of our submarines into service every year, and we will add 2027 new type submarines to our navy until 6.”

We are trying to maximize our localization rates at every stage of defense products, from design to manufacturing. We started research and development activities for the development and use of existing systems in Reis class submarines. We give priority to the development of domestic and national fuel cells, main electric motors, batteries and various types of sonar. As in our other defense industry moves, our goal is to realize our national submarine project. Our preparations for our national submarine MİLDEN, which will be of national design and weight of national systems, continue at full speed. Hopefully, we will start the construction of MILDEN in 2025 at Gölcük Shipyard.”

At no time in our history have we had an opportunity without effort, effort and without paying a price. Including the homeland we live on today. We fought very hard for each of our achievements. From Manzikert to Çanakkale and the National Struggle, in every period of history, we have triumphed with our lives and blood against all attacks against our independence and future. In this struggle we have been continuing against separatist terrorism for the last 40 years, we have buried thousands of children of our country in the prime of their lives. Despite the betrayals of the countries we know as friends and the treachery of the allies, especially the states with which they have relations, we have succeeded.” he said.

All these activities are realized with the harmonious work of our Defense Industry Presidency, our army, shipyards, universities, private sector and especially our SMEs, which we strengthen with our personal support. Hopefully, we will continue to make history in the defense industry by preserving this synergy and working in full harmony between public and private. We will not stop until we make Turkey one of the strongest countries in the world in this field.”
