Speaking at the opening held at the Historical Coal Gas Factory, the President Tunç Soyeremphasized the importance of principled and honest journalism in the days when information pollution and perception management with guided news peaked. We are well aware of the importance of the role played by the central media in this period when the freedom of the press is dying, the right of the public to receive real information is prevented, and the central media is on the side of the strong rather than the right.
