TÜBİTAK Trainee Researcher Scholarship Program (STAR) is open for re-application.

To ensure that students who study at the undergraduate level as the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism gain an R&D culture, take the first step into the research ecosystem and are encouraged to do research by being included in research projects carried out at TÜBİTAK Centers and Institutes or supported by TÜBİTAK. For this purpose, the Trainee Researcher Scholarship Program (STAR) has been reopened for applications with two new calls.

Within the scope of the program, it is possible to apply to various R&D companies as interns, as well as the projects carried out in TÜBİTAK institutes.

In AYAP – 1 (Moon Research Program Project), which continues to work in partnership with TÜBİTAK UZAY and DeltaV, an intern will be recruited to TÜBİTAK UZAY within the scope of STAR.

With the license call of the STAR program

• Students with a university entrance ranking of 100.000 and below, with a grade point average of 2.0 and above
• Students whose university entrance rank is between 100.001 and 150.000 have a grade point average of 3.0 and above.
• Students whose university entrance rank is between 150.001 and 200.000 have a grade point average of 3.5 and above.

With the ARCHEOLOGY call of the STAR program

At a university that offers a bachelor's degree in Turkey;

• Grade point average of 2.5 and above,
• Archeology Department,
• Department of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (4 years)

It will be ensured that the students receiving education will take part in the Şanlıurfa Neolithic Age Research Project. Students who will take part in the project will participate in surface research studies carried out with interdisciplinary approaches together with expert scientists.
