The World Has Come to Buy Turkish Natural Stone

Emphasizing that Marble Fair is among the three biggest fairs in the world, Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association Chairman of the Board Mevlüt Kaya continued his words as follows:

“Marble Fair is a fair that is expected to be opened all over the world and that everyone has on schedule to visit. While we, as the Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association, took part in our Buying Mission organization with 13 companies, 47 importer companies from Australia, Egypt, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Palestine and Israel participated in our Buying Mission organization. More than 100 bilateral business meetings were held in the organization.”

This year we will reach the highest figure in our history

Explaining that the amount of 7 million dollars was realized in 2021 to 257 countries participating in the Marble Procurement Committee Organization, Kaya said, “2021 percent of Turkey's 2 billion 92 million dollars natural stone exports in 12 were made to these 7 countries. We aim to increase our exports to these 7 countries to 300 million dollars. After 7 years, our association exceeded 1 billion dollars and achieved an export figure of 19 billion 1 million dollars with an acceleration of 123 percent in the last one-year period. Our exports of 2013 billion 1 million dollars in 126 was the highest figure in the history of the Union. This year, we will reach the highest figure in our history.” said.

Kaya stated that together with EMİB, IMIB, BAIB and DENIB also organized procurement committees to support the Marble Fair, and that they had a successful fair; He added that after 3 years, the Marble Fair regained its former enthusiasm and that this would be reflected in the natural stone export figures at the end of the year.
