Parks and Gardens Department, Science Affairs Department, İZBETON, one of the municipal companies, completed the placement of the benches by doing the road and pavement works in the park, and repaired the structure in the park where cultural events and workshops will be held. A basketball court and a playground for children were also added to the park. As a result of the survey conducted in the neighborhood, it was decided to name the park after Infantry Petty Officer Master Sergeant Yahya Efiloğlu, who was martyred during the Euphrates Shield Operation in 2017.

IzDoga, one of the companies of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, has started planting saplings in the park where the locals can harvest their fruits. In the park, species such as mulberry, olive, almond, fig, plum, quince, wild strawberry, grapevine, rosemary, holly oak, Anatolian acorn oak, oleander, wisteria, lilac and sandalwood are brought together with the soil.
