To contribute to the education process with cooperation and support between schools, to develop the understanding of dynamic schools that produce and share, to share knowledge, culture, love, respect, social responsibility, cooperation and solidarity among students, within the scope of reducing the differences between schools and ensuring equality of opportunity by the Ministry of National Education. and to develop the “School Partnership Program” is started.

With the program, it is aimed that schools with different educational experiences and resources will share these experiences with their partner schools and carry out educational activities such as planning common learning and teaching processes, organizing joint trainings, realizing joint social activities and projects. In addition, it is aimed to share experiences, bring positive examples to life and create learning communities through joint activities that will increase the quality of education. One of the most important aims of this program is to exchange educational tradition, project experiences, knowledge, experience, corporate culture and value sharing among students and teachers with the program.

Schools included in the school partnership program, which includes school administrators, teachers, students and parents of Anatolian, science and social sciences high schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Secondary Education, were selected from different provinces.

Within the scope of the school partnership program, schools will organize online or face-to-face meetings and meetings by sharing information and joint studies. Schools, which have examples of successful applications in academic, social, cultural and artistic fields, will share resources such as written, visual and digital materials in accordance with the subjects they will study with their partner school.

Topics on which schools will work together

Among the subjects on which the schools will work together are “jointly planning and implementing studies to increase academic success”, “organizing joint trainings for teachers”, “cooperating in the process of obtaining patent, utility model, brand, design registration”, “joint support and training courses”. activities”, “sharing about the teaching methods and techniques used by the groups”, “carrying out community service studies and social responsibility projects”.

Making an assessment on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said: “We have declared that equal opportunities in education constitute our focus since the first days we took office, and I express this on almost every platform. One of our main goals is to minimize the differences in opportunities between schools in order to strengthen the equality of opportunity in education. One of the practices we will implement in this context is the 'School Partnership Program' initiated by our General Directorate of Secondary Education.”

Expressing that they aim to contribute to the provision of equal opportunities by reducing the differences between schools with this program, Özer said, "In this way, increasing the cooperation and support between schools, contributing to the education process, developing the understanding of dynamic schools that produce and share, and fostering knowledge, culture, love, respect among students. It is of great importance to share and develop issues such as social responsibility, cooperation and solidarity.” used the phrases.

The school partnership program will last for 4 years and at the end of the 4th year, changes can be made in partner schools.

The School Partnership Program Implementation Guide was also announced to the provinces, districts and schools.
