The new Mercedes-Benz T-Class marks a new lineup among multi-purpose vehicles, offering plenty of storage space for equipment for a variety of activities and interiors that make the whole family comfortable, including up to three child seats in the rear seat. Thanks to the sliding side doors, fast and easy cabin access and flexible loading possibilities are offered. With its modern design, comprehensive safety equipment and rich connectivity solutions, the New T-Class has a unique comfort level in the world of glass light commercial vehicles. This all-new model combines advanced functionality and spacious interior with high-end equipment. With the standard MBUX infotainment system and electric parking brake, optional 17-inch light alloy wheels, KEYLESS-GO or ambient lighting and even ARTICO artificial leather/MICROCUT seat upholstery, the New T-Class draws attention with the most comprehensive and rich equipment features of its segment. A comprehensive range of standard safety equipment, including seven airbags and numerous driver assistance systems, make it a high-tech and reliable companion for families and active lifestyle enthusiasts.
The starting level of the new T-Class is the T 102 with a 75 HP (160 kW) petrol engine and manual transmission. Combined fuel consumption of this model according to WLTP: It varies between 6,7 and 7,2 lt/100 km, while the combined CO2 emission values are announced as 153 and 162 g/km.

Very functional and stylish
The new T-Class reveals at first eye contact that it is a member of the Mercedes-Benz family. It draws attention with its design, balanced body proportions and exciting surfaces with reduced lines. The muscular shoulder line and pronounced fender rims underline the vehicle's power and emotional appeal. Details such as the chrome radiator grille and body-colored side mirror caps, door handles and front bumper offered as standard increase the perception of quality. Door sill finishers with Mercedes-Benz lettering and optional 17-inch light-alloy wheels complete the package. Also available for the T-Class is Rubellite red metallic.
The five-seater T-Class is 4498 millimeters long, 1859 millimeters wide and 1811 millimeters high without roof bars. A long-wheelbase seven-seat version is also planned to be produced later.
With its features, the T-Series makes the daily life and usage process easier and more comfortable for active families as well as active life-entertainment enthusiasts. For example, with a height of only 561 millimeters, the loading sill facilitates the loading of heavy items and the wide sliding doors on both sides facilitate access to the rear seats. These sliding doors allow children to get on and off the vehicle quickly and safely in narrow streets and parking lots. It also offers the option of loading from three sides, including the tailgate.
Sliding side doors, 614 mm wide and 1059 mm high, offer an extremely wide access opening. When the rear row of seats is folded down, the luggage floor and the loadspace floor are almost flat. These functional features allow the interior of the vehicle to be adapted to daily requirements. A one-piece tailgate with heated rear window is standard. Alternatively, a two-piece tailgate with side hinges can also be selected. Both wings of the door can be locked in the 90 degree position and can be rotated sideways up to 180 degrees.

When it comes to the interior, Mercedes-Benz brings a completely new and sophisticated appeal to the small van segment. The interior design is on par with the successful compact car family. MBUX infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration, multi-function steering wheel with Touch Control buttons, air conditioning, KEYLESS operation, instrument panel with 5,5-inch color display, height-adjustable driver's seat, closed glove box, luggage cover and Pockets on the front seat backrests are offered as standard. In addition, LED interior lighting and ambient lighting (Style and Progressive Line) up to eight colors depending on equipment level are offered.
The choice of materials also reflects the premium character. The center armrest is upholstered in black ARTICO artificial leather as standard. The T-Class benefits from the modern and elegant NEOTEX feature of the all-electric Mercedes-EQ models for the door armrests and door center panels. The combination of nubuck leather and advanced technological neoprene offers a visual feast. All models have a glossy black trim on the dashboard. The interior and trunk are covered with carpet. There are two different equipment levels to take the perception of quality and attractiveness to the next level.
“Style” and “Progressive” trim levels for a unique build
With standard seat covers in double-stitched black ARTICO man-made leather/MICROCUT microfibre, and glossy black trim on the doors and center console, the Style Line presents a dynamic and exclusive look. Optionally, seats in ARTICO man-made leather in black with matt limonite yellow trim and white contrast stitching are available. Both the front and rear door panels are covered in modern NEOTEX faux leather. Chrome accents on the air vents, speakers and door handles support the visual presentation. The driver seat has lumbar support and the front passenger seat has height adjustment. Behind the front seat backs are practical folding tables. Smartphones, tablets or toys can be placed here. The Style trim level of the T-Class offers 16-inch 5-spoke wheels and dark tinted glass for the rear side and trunk.
Progressive Line focuses more on elegant and luxury equipment. A NEOTEX surface with contrast stitching is applied on the upper part of the instrument panel. Black ARTICO artificial leather seats, white stitching and matt silver decorations on the center console and door panels increase the perception of quality even more. Electric windows are offered in the sliding side doors. Chrome sherry on the trunk lid, 16-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels and high-performance LED headlights complete the exterior.

The T-Class is equipped as standard with the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system. Top safety features: Numerous driving assistance systems and seven airbags as standard
The new T-Class is equipped with many important safety features. In addition to the tire pressure loss warning system and the Mercedes-Benz emergency call system, many driving support systems are offered as standard. Hill start assist, Crosswind assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, fatigue warning system, active brake assist with cross-traffic function, active lane keeping assist, blind spot assist and speed limit assist are some of them. The Driving Assistance Package is also available as an option. This includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC (also available as an option) and Active Steering Assist. For added convenience and safety when entering and exiting parking spaces, PARKTRONIC and the reversing camera are optionally available with active parking assist. Again with the optional drawbar, the T-Class is also equipped with trailer stability assist. The optional LED High Performance headlights (standard on the Progressive Line version) also contribute to active safety. In the first phase of the new T-Class, a diesel and a gasoline engine are offered, each with two different power levels. The four-cylinder engines draw attention with their high traction power and optimized consumption values even at low speeds. The 85 kW (116 HP) diesel engine supports instantaneous power requirements such as overtaking with its high power and high torque function. Instantly 89 kW of power and 295 Nm of torque are achieved. All engines are equipped with the ECO start/stop function. Apart from the 6-speed manual transmission, the two diesel engines and the more powerful gasoline engine are also produced with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
