Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Department of Parks, Gardens and Green Areas and its subsidiary Ağaç AŞ, invite the residents of Istanbul to the 'Horticulture Training Programme', which it started to improve the existing green space perception and to provide vocational training. Ongoing in-house trainings are also open to Istanbul residents.
The new training program starts on the Anatolian Side on May 11, 2022 and on the European Side on May 13, 2022. Istanbul residents who want to participate in the trainings with limited quota can apply by filling out the form on the website until April 27, 2022.
Citizens of the Republic of Turkey over the age of 18 are accepted to the course where participation is required. Evaluations for participation in the trainings, which have 40 permanent and 20 reserve quotas on both sides, are made according to the order of application. The date on which the application results will be announced is April 29, 2022.
The trainings of the program will take place at the Idealtepe 50th Anniversary Woods on the Anatolian side and at the Golden Horn Training Center on the European side. Those who complete the course, which will teach project reading, outdoor and indoor plants, pruning techniques, fruit and vegetable cultivation, as well as many courses, will receive a certificate of participation.
