Hülya-Özdemir Speech International İzmir Theater Festival, organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, started with the play "Notes from Underground" by Moda Sahnesi at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center. Within the scope of the festival, which will last until May 17, 17 adult plays, 30 international performances and 4 children's plays will be performed on 6 different stages.
The International İzmir Theater Festival (2022th International İzmir Theater Days) organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in 40 under the name of “Hülya-Özdemir Speech” started with the play “Notes from Underground” by Moda Sahnesi at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Suat Çağlayan, Head of Culture and Art Department Kadir Efe Oruç and Prof. Dr. Hülya Nutku and Prof. Dr. Zeynep Nutku, daughters of Özdemir Nutku, also attended.

40 adult plays, 40 international performances and 17 children's plays will be exhibited as part of the festival, which will host 30 teams in its 4th year and will last until 6 May. The festival will meet theater lovers on 17 different stages, not only in the center of Izmir, but also in many districts from Tire to Torbalı, from Bergama to Foça.
