Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the iftar program of the employees of the Antalya Regional Directorate of Highways. Expressing that they will hold the Antalya-Alanya highway tender this summer, Karaismailoğlu said, "In the next 2 years, we will put it into the service of Antalya residents and make up for an important deficiency."
Speaking at the program held at the 13th Regional Directorate of Highways Social Facilities, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that they are in an intense struggle with all his colleagues in all four corners of Turkey. Stating that they have spent 20 percent of the budget on highways for the last 65 years, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that we have closed an important infrastructure deficit, but it still does not end. Until 2053, we will increase our divided road length, which is 28 kilometers today, to 600 thousand kilometers. We made all our plans to increase our highway length to over 38 thousand kilometers. We prepared our projects. We are working fast. With us, the openings and the groundbreaking never end. Where there is a need, we are there. We are doing a holy work. We make the life of our citizens easier and bring comfort to their lives. This summer, we are holding the Antalya-Alanya highway tender, which Antalya is looking forward to. In the next 8 years, we will put it into the service of the people of Antalya and make up for an important shortcoming. We are expanding Antalya Airport. We have goals in agriculture and industry. We do not have to stop for a long time, continue on our way," he said.
