Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerThe Parent Information and Education Center, which was established by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which strengthens the barrier-free Izmir goal with the understanding of "Another Disability Policy is Possible", continues its trainings for parents with disabled children.

At the Parent Information and Education Center affiliated to the Disabled Services Branch of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Social Projects Department, courses for parents with a disabled child continue with a variety. On April 16, a new one was added to the "Natural Behavioral Practices for Children on the Autism Spectrum" and "Red Flags in Language and Speech Disorders" courses that had previously attracted attention at the center located in the Olympic Village. from Istanbul Aydın University, Dr. "Early Start Denver Model Applications for Parents with a Child Diagnosed with Autism aged 4-5 years" training was organized by Faculty Member Mine Akkaynak.

In addition to parents, university students, teachers of İZELMAN kindergartens and experts were also included in the course. At the same time, a working group was formed with the participation of psychology, child development and special education students and parents who attended the course. The working group will conduct translations, adaptations and workshops throughout the year to ensure that all aspects of the method are learned and disseminated.
