Organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in order to introduce the historical and natural riches of the city they live in to the people of Izmir, "City Tours" is getting ready to welcome its passengers with its new routes. This year's routes of the tours organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Foreign Relations and Tourism Department, accompanied by professional tourist guides, are Bergama, Bayındır, Sığacık, Karşıyaka, Kültürpark, Kemeraltı and 8.500 Years of History Tour in One Day (Yeşilova Mound – Yassıtepe – İzmir Agora). Detailed information and registration form about the "Spring Term Tours" to be held between 18 April-17 June can be found at izmir.bel.tr. The first registrations for the tours to be held on two routes every weekday will start on April 14. Registration forms will be available on Monday and Thursday.
New routes unique to Kemeraltı

Izmir, which is a candidate to be the city with the most destinations on the UNESCO World Heritage list, has succeeded in being included in the temporary list, "Historical Harbor City Route", "Kemeraltı Stories" containing the stories of names and events that add value to Izmir, and "Kemeraltı" where photography enthusiasts will catch colorful images. The “Colorful Squares of the Ancient City” and the “Sacred Heritages of the Historical City” walking tours, which follow the traces of different cultures that have lived together in İzmir for centuries, are among the new routes planned this year. Participants will also have the opportunity to watch the promotional film shown at the renewed Kemeraltı Information Point.
