Children got behind the wheel in the Children's Traffic Education Park, which was built by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality to help children adopt traffic rules at an early age and to create a more conscious society.
In coordination with the teams of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Department, Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department, Police Department, Youth and Sports Services Department, Provincial Directorate of National Education and Provincial Police Department, traffic education was given to pre-school and primary school students in the Child Traffic Education Park. started to be given. The Children's Traffic training park, which was built by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality on an area of 10 thousand 36 square meters in the Paşaalanı Mahallesi of Karesi district and where a miniature city was animated, was put into operation with the participation of Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz. With the warming of the weather, students were trained by the municipal police, police and firefighters in traditional sports branches, using bicycles, fire extinguishing and battery powered vehicles. According to the program determined by the Provincial Directorate of National Education, all students will attend the training in turn.
MINIATURE BALIKESIR
In the park, which is aimed for children to have fun and learn by using battery-operated vehicles; A miniature city with disaster emergency building, fire station, hospital, school, market, cafeteria, toll highway entrance, traffic signs, train and bus models was built. The project, which aims to reduce future traffic problems early, also includes an educational amphitheater, bicycle and pedestrian path and a children's playground.
