Continuing to renovate the historical large pier on the Altınordu coast, which endanger the safety of life and property because its concrete feet are corroded, the Metropolitan Municipality has completed 75 percent of the work.

Within the scope of the project, whose scaffolding rough construction works are continuing, a 77-meter-long 1.460 square-meter scaffolding area will be created.

SCAFFOLDING FLOOR STRENGTHENED BY DRIVING 99 PILES

The pier, which is one of the symbols of Ordu, is given an appearance befitting the identity of the city. Continuing their work rapidly to reintegrate the historical pier with the city, the teams reinforced the pier ground by driving 99 piles within the scope of the work consisting of two stages.

75 PERCENT OF THE JOB COMPLETED

Within the scope of the works, 75 percent of which have been completed, the rough construction of scaffolding flooring continues. Within the scope of the works, where the scaffolding will be covered with wooden composite deck coatings, 180-meter-long modern railings with steel ropes will be made, and after the lighting works, the pier will continue to serve for many years with an appearance befitting the city's identity.
