Telling the story of the fair, Mayor of Finike Mustafa Geyikçi stated that the idea of ​​the fair, which was put forward by the then Mayor of Hasyurt Azer Gökyar and his friends in 1991, was put into practice in 1992. Stating that the fair, which was first held in a nylon tent in a school garden, grew and developed over time, Geyikçi said, “After the Metropolitan Law was enacted in 2014, it was held during the term of Finike Mayor Kaan Osman Sarıoğlu and then it was interrupted. Until 2022, this fair was not held again. Now we will revive this fair with our stakeholders and our industry. We expect support from the entire industry,” he said.

Antalya Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director Gökhan Karaca emphasized the importance of the fair by drawing attention to the fact that there are 360 ​​thousand hectares of agricultural land in Antalya. Karaca stated that they are in the first place in Turkey in greenhouse production and said, "Such activities are extremely important for us in our city, which has a great agricultural potential."
