The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that the tunneling works in the construction of the Balıkesir-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Train Line are continuing rapidly, and it was noted that with the opening of the line, it will add strength to the economy of Bursa.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure made a written statement about the Balıkesir-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Train Line Project. In the statement, which stated that the investments in the industrial and agricultural city Bursa continue, it was emphasized that one of these investments is the Balıkesir-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Train Line project.

APPROXIMATELY 30 MILLION PASSENGERS IS PROJECTED TO BE TRANSPORTED ON THE SPEED TRAIN LINE.

Reminding that Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu examined the works on the project in February, it was noted that the new construction of the project started about 6 months ago. In the statement, which stated that the line length is 201 kilometers and there are 7 stations in the project, “High-speed train line; Gürsu will follow the Yenişehir route and be connected to the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​​​Train line with a muselles line to be built in Osmaneli and will be included in the High Speed ​​​​Train network in Bursa. At the same time, TEKNOSAB will reach Balıkesir by passing through Karacabey stations in the west of Bursa. Thus, the railway connection between Bursa and Balıkesir will be put into service. Within the scope of the project, 20 tunnels with a length of 706 thousand 18 meters, 545 railway bridges with a length of 4 meters, 2 viaducts with a length of 445 meters and 3 bridges with a length of 5 thousand 495 meters will be built. Within the scope of the project, our tunnel work continues rapidly.

THE PROJECT IS TARGETED TO COMPLETE WITHIN 2 YEARS

In the statement, which was noted that passenger and freight transportation will be carried out together on the high-speed train line, it was underlined that 29.9 million passengers and 59.7 million tons of freight are expected to be transported annually. In the statement, “The project is aimed to be completed in the next 2 years. In the 2024-year projection between 2050-26; With the completion of the high-speed train line, 4,3 billion TL from time, 585 million TL from highway maintenance and operation, 10,5 billion TL from external benefits such as air pollution, climate change, noise, cost of nature and green land, biodiversity, soil and water pollution. total economic savings will reach 15,4 billion TL.
