President Erdoğan Appoints Rectors to 8 Universities

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed rectors to 8 universities according to the appointment decision published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, Sanko University Rectorate Prof. Dr. Güner Dağlı was appointed as the Rector of Istanbul Topkapı University, Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin, to the Rectorate of Izmir Tınaztepe University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Güvençer, to the Rector of TED University, Prof. Dr. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu has been appointed as the Rector of Işık University by Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman has been appointed as the Rector of İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Prof. Dr. Saffet Köse, to the Rector of Yalova University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı has been appointed as the Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer was appointed.

President Erdoğan made the appointments in accordance with Article 2547 of the Higher Education Law No. 13 and Articles 3, 2 and 3 of the Presidential Decree No. 7.
