In order to effectively fight against irregular migration and migrant smuggling, the Peace Practice for Combating Irregular Migration was carried out together with the General Directorate of Security, Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command and the provincial units of the Directorate of Migration Management in their areas of responsibility.

The application was carried out at 38.181 points with the participation of 183 personnel and 8.399 detector dogs at abandoned places where foreign nationals can stay, areas where they mostly reside, public entertainment venues, truck garages, terminals, ports and fishermen's shelters, public transportation stops and stations.

In the application of peace; A total of 6.434 places were checked, including 11.073 abandoned buildings, 486 public places, 3.549 terminals and 21.542 other places. A total of 4 organizers, 28 of whom were foreign nationals, were detained and 1.629 irregular migrants were caught.

A total of 45 wanted persons, 817 of whom are foreign nationals, were identified. Administrative sanctions were imposed on a total of 1077 persons, including 63 foreign nationals and 1.140 Turkish citizens.

In practice; It was determined that 13 trucks-vans-buses-cars were used for irregular migration. In addition, 1 unlicensed hunting rifle, 5 unlicensed pistols, 3 blank pistols, 21 bullets, 2 cutting/penetrating tools, various amounts of narcotic drugs, 790 packs of illegal cigarettes and 1 fake ID were obtained.
