Altuğ Erciş Appointed as OYDER's New President

To the Presidency of Automotive Authorized Dealers Association (OYDER), Dr. Altug Ercis was elected. Erciş, who was elected as the chairman after the resignation of President Turgay Mersin before the general assembly, as a result of the voting held at the OYDER General Assembly, will undertake this duty for 3 years.

The chairman of the General Assembly, Dr. Zeynep Fidan Soysal and Uğur Güven as Deputy Chairman of Altuğ Erciş, their assistants Kemal Tepret, Ali Barut, İsmail Ö. Bilal, Ömer Koyuncu, Uğur Yalçınkaya.

The board of directors of the association consisted of the following names; Ömer Koyuncu, Uğur Güven, İsmail Ö. Bilal, Ali Barut, Murat Yeğin, Zeynep Fidan Soysal, Aykut Pektekin, Kemal Tepret, Uğur Yalçınkaya, Ali Erdem Cindilli, Baki Winter, Mehmet Akif Koçak, Gökhan Aşıkoğlu, Gökhan Saygı, Mustafa Cüneyt Baş, Hilal Kosif, Gizem Yüzbaşıoğlu, Kubilay E Erdem, Ali Özerinç, Emin Ilıcak.

Automotive Authorized Dealers Association (OYDER) President Dr. In his speech after the election, Altuğ Erciş thanked the past presidents and stated that the association reached the highest number of members in its history.

Pointing out that 65 percent of the dealers in Turkey are under the umbrella of the association, Erciş said, “We have no doubt that we will reach 100 percent representation as OYDER's effectiveness increases.”

Underlining that OYDER is the only non-governmental organization that communicates with consumers in the Turkish automotive industry, Erciş said, “We get our strength from our authorized dealers. We are experiencing some problems in the industry today. We will make efforts for the further growth of our industry by cooperating closely with our stakeholder associations in the industry, such as ODD, OSD, TAYSAD, TOKKDER. Because I believe that from this union, strength will emerge. There are no unsolvable problems. We will create a synergy with stakeholder associations to overcome these problems," he said.

Altuğ Erciş, the new president of OYDER, has been working with Koluman Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş. He continues to serve as a Member of the Executive Board. Since 2011, Erciş has also been working as the Deputy Chairman and Shareholder of Koluman Monde Motor Vehicles A.Ş.

Turgay Mersin, who has been the Chairman of the Board of OYDER since April 20, 2021, surprisingly announced that he resigned from his position yesterday evening.
