Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç received a comprehensive briefing from the authorities regarding the 5th Stage of the Rail System Talas Mevlana-Furkan Doğan Tram Line. Büyükkılıç, who opened his fast-breaking dinner with the construction site personnel, stated that their efforts are continuing to provide more comfortable and safer transportation for the citizens.
Working to increase the comfort and safety of transportation both on the highway and in the rail system in Kayseri, the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç held a meeting with Gülermak-YDA officials and was briefed on the 5th Stage of the Rail System Talas Mevlana-Furkan Doğan Tram Line.
Evaluating the last point reached in the works with the authorities and getting comprehensive information about the works done, President Büyükkılıç said that the whole team made an effort to finish the works here as soon as possible.
HE HAS IFTAR WITH SITE STAFF
After the meeting, President Büyükkılıç had his fast-breaking meal at the construction site of Gülermak-YDA companies, together with all the personnel working on the tram line, from workers to engineers. Büyükkılıç, who toured the tables one by one, wished the construction site workers both a blessed and fruitful Ramadan and ease in their work.
Making a statement here, Büyükkılıç said, “May Allah not spoil our unity and solidarity. May Allah make us reach many more Ramadans under our crescent and star Turkish flag, loyal to our homeland, our nation, our state, with an understanding that knows the call to prayer as our sine qua non, and make it reach many nights of Qadr and holidays with a taste of mouth and in peace.
“OUR TRAM LINE WILL REACH 48 KILOMETER”
Stating that their efforts continue for citizens to provide more comfortable and safer transportation, Büyükkılıç said, "The works on the tram line, both our Tınaztepe tram line and our Talas tram line, will be completely completed by the end of 2022 and our tram line will have reached 48 kilometers. Good luck,” he said.
Kayseri Urban Rail Transport System 5th Stage, including the Martyr Furkan Doğan Station and the electromechanical works with 5,5 passenger stations, 9 underground well tanks, a water tank and 3 transformer centers along the route of approximately 3 kilometers to Talas Anayurt region. An additional rail system line is being built.
