Fiberli Lighting, which started researches with the aim of gaining audible and visual warning competence in environmental lighting products, prevented this problem with the project it developed. In areas where pedestrian traffic is intertwined with rail systems, all of the construction phases of the control device, which makes tram crossings safer, have been completed within Fiberli. Within the scope of the project, a control device that can make an audible warning thanks to the environmental lighting fixture and speaker that changes color simultaneously with the traffic lights has been developed. In this way, the risk of accidents in pedestrians, tram or vehicle traffic has been significantly reduced.
The residents of the neighborhood, who are very satisfied with the developments, think that this situation is very beneficial not only for pedestrians and vehicle users, but also for disadvantaged individuals, and offers a safer city life for visually and hearing impaired individuals.
