Zeki Durak said, “As stated by the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, we have started our work on the inclusion of 100 thousand young people in employment. In this context, we hold meetings with institutions such as chambers of commerce and industry, vocational training centers, organized industrial zones and the representatives of the companies in these areas to determine the required workforce qualifications. As a result of these interviews, we determine what quality and field of labor is needed. We design appropriate skill acquisition and vocational training programs with the interviewed institutions. We started to implement the first of these training programs in cooperation with the Vocational Training and Development Center (MEGEM) operating under the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone.

With the support of BEBKA, CNC Machine Operator, CMM Supported Quality Control Operator and Gas Submerged Welding Operator trainings have started in order to meet the qualified personnel needs of Eskişehir industry at MEGEM.” Noting that BEBKA has accelerated its work especially in line with the 'youth employment' theme, Durak said, “Employment guaranteed vocational training courses started with 50 trainees selected from among the high demand. It was planned as 2,5 months and 400 hours. At the end of the training program provided free of charge by our agency, the trainees will be given certificates by MEGEM. We aim to employ all trainees at the end of the trainings. We aim to contribute to the solution of the need for qualified personnel and to support employment by carrying out these trainings in Bursa and Bilecik.

Saying, “We make our young people have jobs at MEGEM and we make a very important contribution to the course of their lives in a positive way,” said Nadir Küpeli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, “MEGEM is one of our companies that we attach special importance to as OSB, and we incorporated this center in 2018 and met the needs of our industry in terms of education. We've made it responsive. For about 5 years, MEGEM has been playing a major role in raising the qualified workforce needed by the Eskişehir industry. With the contributions of BEBKA, 50 of our trainees will receive training at MEGEM and participate in business life in this new term. More than a thousand people we have trained so far are now doing their jobs in very good conditions in important industrial establishments.
