Feza Gürsey Science Center hosts different workshops for students from Başkent to spend their break to the fullest and learn science while having fun. The little ones who want to attend the "Science Workshop", which will be open until April 17, will be able to make a reservation and register by calling '(0312) 317 99 19' or '(0312) 596 90 00/2003-2004' through their parents.

Altınpark Feza Gürsey Science Center, which operates within the General Directorate of ANFA, opened a 'Science Workshop' in order to make children who come to visit the Capital from different cities love science as well as the children from the Capital City during the break.

Feza Gürsey Science Center, which hosts different workshops, aims to enable the children of Başkent to use their spare time efficiently, learn science and technology with fun, and develop their hand skills during the break.

INTENSIVE ATTENTION FROM THE CHILDREN TO THE SCIENCE WORKSHOP WITH THE MID-TERM HOLIDAY

Children who actively participate in the experiments conducted in the Science Workshop, which introduces children to science at an early age and provides an interactive learning environment in the company of hands-on experts; he learns detailed information from electro acoustics to the formation of fossils, from the micro world to dried plants.

The children, who participated in the fun world of science by making various experiments and playing games, started to show great interest in the workshops held in different branches every day with the start of the break.

Feza Gürsey Science Center instructor Sinem Gürpınar Akbaş pointed out that there is a high demand from students and the number of visitors is increasing day by day, and gave the following information:

“During the break, activities and workshops for our children will continue. We made mosaics by talking about archeology and mosaic museums for our children who participated in our Mosaic Workshop. Children have a lot of fun, they do it with love. We organize different scientific events every day. We organize workshops in various fields such as teeth, clay, water rocket. We welcome everyone to our visit.”

OPPORTUNITY FOR SOCIALIZATION AND FEELING OF CURIOUS

While the parents expressed their satisfaction with the socialization of their children, the children who had the opportunity to visit the Science Center and learn what they were curious about expressed their thoughts with the following words:

Nil Akkent (Parent): “We came to Ankara from Afyonkarahisar with my daughter. My daughter loves such workshops. We both toured the center and got information about the mosaics.”

Ebru Özcan (Parent): “We came to visit the Science Center. These activities are great for kids. It supports both motor skills and what is archeology? What is an archaeologist? they get information about them. We support such events as families. We have the opportunity to bring our children together both socially and with science and art.”
