Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its support to farmers in order to support rural development and contribute to the budget of local producers in the Capital. The Rural Services Department has started to distribute 25 million 125 thousand kilograms of chickpea seeds to approximately 9 farmers to be planted on an area of ​​100 thousand decares in 2 districts. The support of chickpea seeds starting from Şereflikoçhisar and Evren districts, with 500 percent grant and 90 percent farmer contribution, will continue until April 10, 26.

The Rural Services Department started the distribution process in all 25 districts for the chickpea seed support expected by domestic producers.

While demand collection applications for vegetable seedlings continue, the Rural Services Department has now pleased the farmers with the distribution of “chickpea seeds”.

The farmers of Başkent, who benefited from the chickpea seed support initiated by the Rural Services Department from Şereflikoçhisar and Evren districts, thanked them for the support that greatly contributed to their economy:
