Applications for the 'Golden Egg University Fund Basket Competition', organized in cooperation with Takasbank, Turkish Capital Markets Association and Turkish Institutional Investor Managers Association, start on Monday, April 18th. The third fund basket competition, which was initiated to guide university students to long-term savings and investments, to provide them with information about mutual funds, and to increase the prevalence of TEFAS, is being held for the third time this year.

In the 'My Golden Egg University Fund Basket Competition', university students are asked to manage their portfolios created in the virtual environment by choosing at least one of the profiles in this scenario, according to three different scenarios. Students will be able to apply for the competition via edu.tr or the 'Golden Egg Fund Basket' mobile application downloaded to their mobile phones with their university's official e-mail address. For security reasons, the mobile application for the competition will not be accessible from abroad. Applications for the competition can be made until 30 on Saturday, April 2022, 23.00. Students whose applications are accepted will be eligible to participate in the competition, which will start on May 9. The competition will continue until 30 November 2022.

From the competitors; They will be asked to manage a virtual budget of 20 million TL for each scenario, with three different scenarios covering 39-40, 64-65 and 1 and over age periods. Competitors will be able to create their asset allocation only from security mutual funds (excluding hedge funds) traded in TEFAS. Participants will be able to trade between 14.00 and 23.00 on weekdays and weekends, and basket changes or balancing can be carried out a maximum of 4 (four) times per month.

At the end of the competition, the winners with different names in each asset class will win a cash prize of 15 thousand TL, while the runners-up will win a cash prize of 12 thousand TL. The grand prize of the competition will be the winners of the first two places in the competition as 'cash'. Thus, a total of 81 thousand TL will be awarded in the competition. In order to receive the award, it will be mandatory to be a student as of the registration date.

Students between the ages of 18 and 26 will compete.

Participation in the 'Golden Egg University Fund Basket Competition' will be free of charge. Students between the ages of 18 and 26 who are enrolled in an associate degree or undergraduate degree at a university located in Turkey can participate in the competition. However, there will be a registration requirement to participate in the competition. Registration, which will start on Monday, April 18, 2022, will end on April 30, 2022, Saturday at 23.00.
