Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is renewing its vehicle fleet for the first time since 2013 in order to both reduce the density and increase comfort due to the increasing population in public transportation. While the delivery process of the new buses previously purchased by the EGO General Directorate continues gradually, new bus purchases continue. With its own resources, EGO General Directorate also purchased 2022 more 14 model buses through the State Supply Office. The good news of purchasing a new bus came from the EGO General Directorate, which brought together the modern buses, which were delivered step by step, with the Capitalists and continued the delivery process, with its own resources.
Expanding its fleet with each passing day, EGO General Directorate purchased 2022 new buses, model 14, through the State Supply Office. 12 meters, diesel fueled, low-floor, handicapped accessible, air-conditioned and 2022 model Mercedes-Benz Conecto buses will be included in the vehicle fleet in the coming days. The number of new buses will be 369 with the latest purchases.
NEW BUS WILL PROVIDE SERVICE ON THE BEST LINES
Within the scope of the previous 355 bus purchases made by the EGO General Directorate, 30 new buses were received, while the number of buses received increased to 260.
EGO General Directorate, which will add 14 new buses and 109 buses until the end of June, will provide public transportation services by directing these buses to the busy lines demanded by the people of Ankara.
