Last night, Claw Lock Operation was launched in order to eliminate terrorist attacks in northern Iraq and to ensure our border security.
Phase one targets achieved. The operation continues successfully as planned. Mehmetçik began to take control of the region. Search-scanning activities continue. All the shelters, bunkers and so-called headquarters of the terrorists, as well as their caves and lairs, will be destroyed one by one.
According to the first determinations, 19 terrorists were neutralized in the operation. We think that this number will increase with the detections to be made during the search-scan. During the operation, 4 of our heroic comrades were injured. All necessary medical attention is given.
Terrorists must realize that they have nowhere to run, that the end is near, and must surrender to justice.
