Women Designing and Producing Aircraft of the Future Gathered on International Women's Day

As part of the 8 March International Women's Day of Turkish Aerospace Industries, a special program was prepared for female employees. In the program prepared under the name of Women Inspiring the Sky Meeting, researcher and writer İlknur Bektaş gave a talk on “The Brave and Lost Women of the National Struggle”.

At the meeting where a video was screened in which the heroic women of the War of Independence and the women who inspired the sky of Turkey were screened, the manifesto prepared for the Brave Women of the War of Independence and the women who inspired the sky of Turkey was signed by female employees.

As part of the 8 March International Women's Day, the book “The Brave and Lost Women of the National Struggle”, written by researcher and writer İlknur Bektaş, was presented to female employees. Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Prof. The book, which was reprinted with the foreword of Dr Temel Kotil, includes the stories of 30 female protagonists who struggled with self-sacrifice to bring the country under its sovereignty during the years of the National Struggle.

The 3rd term of the Women Inspiring the Sky Mentoring Program matched the mentees and mentors on the same day. In the 6-month program, 23 female university students will be mentored by 23 female employees of Turkish Aerospace Industries.
