Women's Rights Announced on Trams

The "We Don't Give Up" campaign, which was held within the scope of March 8, International Working Women's Day and draws attention to the rights of women, took place on the trams as well.

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, Tepebaşı Municipality, Odunpazarı Municipality, Eskişehir City Council, Tepebaşı Healthy Cities, Odunpazarı City Council, TMMOB and Eskişehir Bar Association established with the partnership of Eskişehir Women's Solidarity Platform, "We do not give up" on the city-wide billboard, screens and social media. The work was also included in the trams by the Metropolitan Municipality. Articles in the European Court of Human Rights, CEDAW and Turkish Civil Code on women's rights to life, freedom, equality, alimony, divorce, education, equal pay for equal work, access to justice, health and non-violent life were included in the articles hung inside the trams.

Citizens traveling on trams carefully examined the articles and thanked Eskişehir Women's Solidarity Platform and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality for announcing the rights of women to those who do not know or ignore them.
