Russian amphibious landing craft (LST) in the port of Berdyansk in the Sea of Azov were targeted by the Ukrainian army. After the attack, it was seen that dense smoke started to rise from 2 ships. Then, it was observed that 2 Ropucha class LSTs in the port immediately left the port. It was determined that one of the ships that left was Teaser Ukinov with the burgundy number 58 and the other was the Novocherkassk ship with the claret red number 142.

It was determined from their silhouettes that one of the hit ships was Alligator (crocodile) class LST and the other was Ropucha class LST. According to analysts, the Alligator class LST that was hit is estimated to be BDK-69 Orsk when the images are examined carefully. In the statement published by the Ukrainian Navy, it was stated that the ship that was hit was Orsk. A few days ago, images were published in the same port of an Alligator-class LST landing Russian armored vehicles in the port of Berdyansk.

The number of LST ships in the Black Sea increased from 8 to 9 with the LST ships that Russia brought from the North and Baltic seas on February 7-13 and added them to the Black Sea fleet. 9 of them are Ropucha class LST, 3 are Alligator class and 1 are Ivan Gren class LST.
