TEI came together with nearly 500 female students with the "First Steps to the Center of Aviation" project as part of the "World Aviation Women's Week" events. In addition, at the Women's Aviation Meeting held at TEI, the Mentoring Program for Women who Empower Power was launched.

TEI, which was awarded the "Company that Most Values ​​Women Employees in the World" 5 times by the World Aviation Women's Institute, came together with the strong women of aviation and future candidates with the "First Steps to the Center of Aviation" project this year. The event was held with nearly 10 female students studying in 500 different secondary schools. Students were shown an educational video on how airplanes fly. In the video, Human Resources Leader Sibel Pişkin shared with the students in which areas they can work in the aviation industry and her experiences. Then, THY Boeing 737 pilot Elif Coşkun gave a speech that inspired children on “Being a Woman Pilot”. Fun activities were also organized within the scope of the project. Participation in the International Pink Paper Plane Challenge Event was achieved with pink paper airplanes flown in 10 different schools. In addition, the Strong Women of Aviation event was held at TEI as part of the World Aviation Women's Week event. In the event where nearly 300 female employees came together, the Women Empowering Women Mentoring Program was launched. The program, which will be held for the first time this year, is attended by 18 students from the Career Candidate Engineering Program at the Source of Power and 16 experienced female managers. In the mentoring program, which consists of 8 main topics and will last for 4 months, TEI female managers will convey their knowledge and experiences to future female aviator candidates.
