The works to be carried out on the Mudanya highway of the project, which will transport the rail system to Bursa City Hospital, started with the transfer of the traffic on the main road to the side road. Within the scope of the project, which will progress step by step, the metropolitan teams continue their efforts to create an alternative road in order not to experience any disruption in traffic.
Manufacturing continues on the Emek-Şehir Hospital Rail System Line, which was designed by the Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide uninterrupted transportation to Bursa City Hospital, which draws the burden of Bursa's health services especially during the pandemic process, with a total bed capacity of 6 in 355 different hospitals. The work of the 6.1-kilometer 4-station line, which was transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure by the decision of the Council of Ministers, on the Mudanya highway is also being started. Within the scope of the works, the Metropolitan Municipality, which takes all kinds of measures to prevent problems in traffic due to the closure of the main road, will transfer the traffic to the rearranged side road within the scope of the project, which will progress step by step. The first phase of the project has also been implemented. After passing Bursaray's Emek station, the main road was closed and the traffic was transferred to the side road prepared as 4 lanes. With this study, it was observed that there was no problem in traffic flow.

In the meantime, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to create an alternative route in order to avoid problems in traffic in the advanced stages of the project, which will progress step by step. The Metropolitan Municipality, which takes all necessary precautions to prevent any disruption in traffic during the time the Mudanya road is closed, creates a new route as an alternative to the main road in Geçit Mahallesi. Excavation and filling works accelerated on the road, which was planned to be 10 meters wide and 1000 meters long at the first stage. With the completion of this road, the traffic load of the Mudanya road will be diverted to an alternative route, so there will be no problems in transportation.
