Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that the payments have started in the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which was implemented for the households in need.

Minister Derya Yanık gave information about the payments within the scope of the natural gas aid, as well as the coal aid provided to the needy households.

Stating that the applications for Natural Gas Consumption Support started as of February 18, Minister Yanık said, “We provided 230 million TL of support as the first installment of our annual support to 80,5 thousand households who applied and whose entitlements were approved by our Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations.” said.

Reminding that the applications for Natural Gas Consumption Support continue through the e-Government system, Minister Yanık stated that the payments will continue to the households whose application process is completed.

Stating that all citizens in need, residing in 647 districts/towns with natural gas infrastructure and natural gas subscribers, can benefit from the support, Minister Yanık said, “Our payments have started in the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which we have implemented for the households in need. Our support amount, which we determined based on the thermal map, varies between 450 TL and 1.150 TL. We make our payments in two installments. The first installment amount we pay will vary between 225 TL and 575 TL depending on the seasonal conditions of the regions.” used the phrases.

Underlining that households using both postpaid and prepaid meters can benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support, Minister Yanık said, “Our citizens will be able to benefit from the support by going to the PTT and submitting their invoices after their application through e-Government is approved. On the other hand, the support amount of our citizens using prepaid meters will be credited to their cards.” said.

An additional 5% payment will be made to chronic patients with a medical report.

Reminding that they will make additional payments to chronic patients with a health report or to citizens who continue their lives depending on the device, Minister Yanık said, “Our citizens will have to process their disease report into the system at the time of application. We will pay 5 percent more to the households where our patients live, in addition to the support amount we have determined.” he said.
