What are the Application Requirements for Train Driver Recruitment?

In general, candidates for the Metro Istanbul train driver recruitment;

  • Graduated from Vocational High School, Technical High School or Vocational Schools, Preferably Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Automotive, Engine, Information Technologies, Computer, Rail Systems, Ecotronic Automation, Machinery departments,
  • To have at least a Class B license and Psychotechnical certificate,
  • Having done military service for male candidates,
  • Male candidates must be at least 165 cm tall without shoes,
  • For Female Candidates, to be at least 160 cm tall without shoes,
  • Height and weight index maximum 27, minimum 18,
  • Not having an obstacle to working with the shift system, including the night shift,
  • Having health conditions that will not prevent working underground (tunnel - subway), not staying indoors, phobia, etc.,
  • To meet the health criteria of train driver in accordance with the Railways Safety Critical Missions regulation,
