We have made changes in quarantine, isolation times, screening tests, contact times. At this point, what we should all know is that the fight against Covid-19 will be given by vaccines from now on. There is also a drug developed for use in an epidemic. We have started to distribute them to people over 65 years old and immunocompromised. Now it's time to prudently remove the epidemic from being the dominant element of our social life, and in a way, move from epidemic captivity to real life. There are some of our scientists who say it is too early and who are in favor of waiting. Many scientists, on the other hand, support our initiative to return to life freed from the pressure of the epidemic, taking into account the social realities and similar developments in the world.

No one will doubt that we aim to do the best and make the right decision on behalf of the Ministry. When a person says the epidemic is not over or the epidemic is over, the concrete reality does not change. The epidemic has lost its effect, this is the visible truth. There is no need to emphasize the word epidemic as much as before. We must stop the epidemic from being the main criterion of daily life. As a society, we must move from the period of combating the epidemic through restrictions to the stage of individual protection from the disease.
