Language Education Starts with Preschool Imitation

Scientific research shows that language learning starts with imitation in pre-school and becomes permanent by turning into a skill in childhood and youth. Developed in an all-inclusive concept under the guidance of native English speaking instructors in Turkey, the training camps bring together children and youth from different countries of the world, creating a cultural interaction.

Although the opinion that children are more likely to learn foreign languages in preschool period is quite common, scientific research brings a new approach to this thesis. A study conducted in Israel reveals that children who start learning a foreign language after early childhood are more advantageous. According to the research, which determined that the foreign language learning skills of 14-21 year olds, defined as young adults, are more advanced than 12-year-old children, language learning skills that start by imitation in the pre-school period reach maturity level as age progresses.

Pointing out that the advantages of foreign language education given at different stages of life also vary depending on age, UP English Camps Director Kubilay Güler said, “Contrary to popular belief, as children grow, their language learning abilities do not decrease, on the contrary, their learning skills develop. Since the concentration level is lower in preschool children, language education cannot go beyond imitation, so it is not permanent. In addition to age, factors such as family education, social environment and intellectual level also affect language education.

Versatile training methodology specific to different age groups

Saying that they offer a different English learning experience with the camps they have developed specifically for age groups, Kubilay Güler said, “Our English education model, integrated into social life, dynamic and interaction-based, differs from traditional education methodologies with its versatility. We focus on improving students' foreign language learning skills in a social environment suitable for their age group. With our concept, which has never been applied in Turkey before, we enable students to obtain the highest efficiency from language education.”

All inclusive English learning camp

Noting that they will bring together students between the ages of 3-28 from many countries at the UP International English Camp to be held in Uludağ between July 9 and August 17 this year, UP English Camps Director Kubilay Güler said, “To those who attend our all-inclusive camp, main Under the guidance of our English-speaking teachers, we will provide a different language learning experience with educational and entertaining activities. In our camp, where children and young people can attend for one or two weeks, we will offer the advantage of plenty of speaking practice and create an intercultural interaction. Participants will gain experience and self-confidence in their social relations as well as learning English.

We will bring together hundreds of students in Turkey

Pointing out that they have guided thousands of students' education life with their 12 years of experience in the international education sector, Kubilay Güler said, “We have combined our services under the UP brand by combining the experience we have accumulated over 12 years with an innovative perspective. We decided to expand our activities in order to bring the experience we gained in Malta to Turkey. We aim to bring hundreds of students from different parts of the world together in our country in the next few years with the English camps we have developed.”
