Protection Group of Companies, which owns a production facility in Kırıkhan, Hatay, continues its support to the Chemistry department at Kırıkhan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which started operating this academic year. Protection Group of Companies, which established the laboratory of the chemistry department with industrial products, also established a production workshop so that students can learn while producing. Students, who started production under the name of Han Kimya, will produce liquid soap, surface cleaners, dishwashing detergent, cologne and disinfectant.

The importance of vocational training for Turkey emerged especially during the pandemic period when supply problems were experienced and we needed new products rapidly. A new one has been added to the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools, which started production to respond to this sudden demand in the production of disinfectant and hygiene products.

Kırıkhan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) Chemistry Department students, who started their education life last term, are preparing to produce liquid soap, surface cleaners, dishwashing detergent, cologne and disinfectant in the chemistry workshop.

ESTABLISHED AT THE REQUEST OF OUR MINISTER OF NATIONAL EDUCATION

The request of the Protection Group of Companies, which produces chemistry in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay, to open a chemistry department in Kırıkhan MTAL, which provides education in the region, was submitted to the Ministry of National Education last year. Kırıkhan MTAL, who started to provide chemistry education at the request of the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer during this training period, shared the requirements with the Protection Group of Companies, Kırıkhan Factory, in order for the department to provide qualified education.

LABORATORY SUPPORT WAS GIVEN FIRST

Protection Group of Companies, responding to the laboratory needs of Kırıkhan MTAL, who started his education in the chemistry department, shared the industrial laboratory equipment in its production facility in Kırıkhan with the students. Thanks to the shared equipment, students and their instructors, who experienced the processes in a modern chemical production facility, rolled up their sleeves to do more.

PRODUCTION WORKSHOP STARTED

After the laboratory support, Kırıkhan MTAL instructors, who took action to 'learn by producing', decided to establish a production workshop in the field of chemistry. In the production workshop, which was established with the support of the Protection Group of Companies, students will be able to both meet their needs for disinfectant and hygiene products during the pandemic process, and learn by producing, with the production of liquid soap, surface cleaner, liquid dishwashing detergent, cologne and hand disinfectant. Protection Group of Companies, which provided the necessary equipment for production, also provided training support to Kırıkhan MTAL trainers for the use of equipment and production.

“WE KNOW THE VALUE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND WE SUPPORT EVERY OPPORTUNITY”

Vefa İbrahim Araci, Chairman of the Board of Protection Group of Companies, emphasized the importance of vocational training for Turkish industrialists and said, “The main factor that sustains and develops our industry is human power. We need high schools that provide vocational education in order to provide a qualified and qualified workforce. We see this need and support vocational education institutions at every opportunity. We did our best to start teaching chemistry at Kırıkhan MTAL and to enable students to 'learn by producing'. We believe that Han Kimya, founded by our instructors and students, will produce the hygiene products needed in the best quality and offer them to the benefit of the society.
