Organized by the Izmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education, the 29th Izmir European Jazz Festival started with the hosting of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. The festival, which started with the performance of “Nat King Cole Project” by Eylül Ergül and Önder Focan Group, will continue until April 2.

At the concert at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM), one of the brightest musicians of the young generation, Eylül Ergül, and the great master of the jazz world, Önder Focan Group, took the stage with the “Nat King Cole Project” and sang the unforgettable songs of the legend of world jazz music, Nat King Cole. Before the concert, at the ceremony with the presentation of Ümit Tunçağ, İzmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education (İKSEV) Chairman of the Board Filiz Eczacıbaşı Sarper presented plaques of appreciation to the Festival supporters.

Free art-filled workshops and events

Organized by İKSEV, with the contribution of İzmir's Italian Consulate, Switzerland's Honorary Consulate in İzmir, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, Goethe Institute İzmir and Institut François Turkey-İzmir, and with the contributions of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, the festival will continue until April 2.

As part of the festival, the “Italian Metamorphosis” concert, which will be held on Monday, March 7 at 20.00:8 at AASSM, will showcase the combination of flugelhorn (cornet) and piano.
