There has been an important development regarding the Island Train. Due to the ongoing historical excavations and restoration works at Haydarpaşa Train Station, Ada Expressi, which previously worked between Adapazar and Pendik, started to work until Gebze. Since December 12, 2021, the first train from Adapazarı was leaving at 05:50 and the last train at 19:15.
Upon the intense demand from the citizens, the departure times on the Island Train were changed. According to the change, the first train from Adapazari will depart at 06:30. The train will arrive in Izmit at 07:16. The last train will depart from Adapazarı at 19:55 and arrive in Izmit at 20:42.
