IETT will purchase 100 100 percent electric buses this year. The final test for the electric vehicles to be purchased was carried out at the Otokar factory in Sakarya.
IETT General Manager Alper Bilgili, together with the Deputy General Managers and the relevant Department Heads, carried out the test of the Otokar brand Electra model 100 percent electric vehicle.
A 12kW motor drives the 27-meter-long, 410-seat vehicle. The vehicle, which offers battery options between 210 and 350 kW, offers a maximum range of 400 kilometers.
IETT has completed the test of 5 electric vehicles of different brands, together with the Otokar test. After the technical specifications for electric vehicles are prepared, the tender process will be initiated and 2022 electric vehicle tenders will be held in 100.
